Below are some simple functions about
your browser you should know.
If when you print the PICK SHEET from the FREE SECTION or MEMBERS SECTION
and more then one page is printed per track, the settings below for your
browser will allow your printer to print ONE page per race.
Microsoft Explorer 4+:
1. Go to your top bar look for the view button.
2. Go down until text size.
3. PRESS this bar and go to side bar.
4. Go down and press the smaller bar.

How to turn on your Java functions
Heres how to turn on your Java functions if they are not yet activated.
Microsoft Explorer 4+:
1. Go into the 'TOOLS' Menu and select the 'INTERNET OPTIONS' menu item.
2. A tabbed dialog will pop-up. This is where you set all your options
and preferences.
3. Next, click on the 'ADVANCED' tab to bring up the Advanced settings
section.
4. Click on the box next to the 'ENABLE JAVA JIT COMPILER'(IE4) or 'JIT
compiler for virtual machines enabled'(IE5) option to make it checked.
This option allows Explorer to 'assemble' the program and run it for
you on your browser. While you are in this dialog, you may wish to
check your SECURITY settings as well (details below).
5. Click on the 'OK' button to save your changes. Now, shutdown Explorer,
and restart.
Another place to check and see if your java is off or to check to see if
it is set for high safety is:
1. Click on the TOOLS menu and select the INTERNET OPTIONS item on that
menu. This will bring up the options dialog for your browser.
2. Go to the security tab.
3. Press the custom tab at bottom.
4. Look down the list until you find Java settings or Heading called JAVA.
PERMISSIONS.
5. Click on the HIGH SAFETY BUTTON.
6. Press the OK button, that is all there is to it.
Netscape 4:
1. Go into your EDIT menu. Select the 'PREFERENCES' Menu item. A dialog
screen will pop-up. This is where you set up your network and navigator
options.
2. Click on the 'ADVANCED' item in the index column on the left hand side
(the column headed 'category') - this will select the panel where you
control what scripting languages your browser will run.
3. If the index is expanded (i.e. a '-' sign is next to the word ADVANCED)
ignore the items below the word ADVANCED. You should ONLY click on the
word ADVANCED in the index list to bring up the correct panel.The panel
should have the heading 'ADVANCED - Change preferences that affect the
entire product'.
4. Click on the boxes next to the ENABLE JAVA and ENABLE JAVASCRIPT so
that they are checked. This will activate Javascript immediately.
5. Click on the 'OK' button to save your changes.
How to turn on your SSL Security functions
Heres how to turn on your SSL Secure Transmissions functions
if they are not yet activated. The changes will take effect
the next time you start your browser.
Microsoft Explorer 4+:
1. Click on the TOOLS menu and select the INTERNET OPTIONS item on that
menu. This will bring up the options dialog for your browser.
2. Click on the ADVANCED tab. In the center is a window for your options.
3. Scroll through the window to find the section headed SECURITY. If there
are no items listed next to the heading, double-click on the heading to
expand the list of items relating to security. A list should be present
which shows all the options you can activate in respect of security.
4. Make sure that the check boxes next to the items in the list labeled
"SSL 2.0" and "SSL 3.0" are checked. This will activate your SSL
security options.
3. Click on OK to close the options dialog and to save these settings,
then refresh the page.
Netscape 4:
1. While in any page, click on the SECURITY button on the tool bar. This
will bring up the security options dialog.
2. Click on the item on the left side of the dialog labeled NAVIGATOR.
This will bring up your navigator security options.
3. Ensure that the two boxes down the bottom of the screen in the section
labeled "Advanced Security(SSL) Configuration" are checked.
4. Click on the button marked CONFIGURE SSL v2 and ensure all listed items
are checked. Click on OK.
5. Click on the button marked CONFIGURE SSL v3 and ensure all listed items
are checked EXCEPT the last item for MD5 MAC (as this disables the
settings on Macintoshes). Click on OK.
6. Click on OK in the main dialog box to save your settings and then reload
the page.
